OnlinePC über RouteConverter

Gerade habe ich einen schönen Bericht über RouteConverter 2.10 bei OnlinePC entdeckt. Besonders gefreut hat mich, daß die einfache Bedienung und die automatische Erkennung geschätzt werden:
Der Clou an RouteConverter ist einfache Bedienung sowie die automatische Erkennung des jeweiligen Datenformats. Es genügt, eine GPS-Datei ins Programmfenster zu ziehen, und die Software ermittelt die passende Dateibehandlungsroutine. Anschliessend erscheinen die Wegpunkte rechts im Fenster, während links eine Vorschau der Strecke in Google Maps zu sehen ist. Die Kartenansicht lässt sich umstellen, verschieben und zoomen. Einzelne Wegpunkte kann der Nutzer bearbeiten, löschen, verschieben oder hinzufügen. Die jeweilige Position wird direkt auf der Karte markiert.

  • reads Garmin Fit (.fit) files
  • extracts speed from Sports Tracker (*.gpx) files
  • is optimized for large tracks with several hundred thousand positions
  • allows to display coordinates as decimal degrees, degrees and decimal minutes, degrees minutes and seconds
  • allows to display coordinates at current mouse position
  • allows to display the waypoint description next to the waypoint
  • allows to add time to positions interpolated from existing time information
