1.12 is ready

The latest version 1.12 from 11/24/07

• tries to make the handling of several routes per file easier understandable by changing layout and tool tip texts
• reads and writes Glopus (*.tk) files
• reads and writes all GPSBabel based formats in the Mac version
• better processes Google Earth way points from Radreise-Wiki
• shows the number of routes per file
• allows to directly edit comment, longitude, latitude and elevation in the position list
• allows to register the program for Geocaching.com/EasyGPS (*.loc) files
• asks before changes get lost since they haven't been saved
• fixes a bug while reading Google Earth URLs where the starting point of a route was ignored
• fixes a bug while reading Google Earth URLs which contain only one position
• fixes a bug while reading GPX 1.1 files which ignored descriptions of positions

Please tell me if you like the new user interface, or if you're a Mac user and appreciate the better format support.

Mac OS X Support

Although the Mac users only account for a few percent of a RouteConverter users, they're very active and supportive to make the program run better on their platform.

The next release will have some significant improvements for Mac users: all navigation formats, that are handled by GPSBabel internally, work out of the box. Be prepared... :-)
